Short version: MumChef is a pre-launch waitlist. We collect your email address so we can notify you when the app is ready. That is the only personal data we hold. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for anything else.
MumChef is a family meal-planning app currently in development, operated by Bogdan Veliscu. This policy covers the MumChef waitlist website at mumchef.io.

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the date you signed up. That is it.
We do not collect:
Your email address is used solely to notify you when MumChef launches on the App Store. We may also send a small number of pre-launch updates if you opt in at signup.
The legal basis under GDPR is legitimate interests — you submitted your email specifically to receive this notification — and, where applicable, your explicit consent at the point of signup.
We use PostHog (EU region, hosted at eu.i.posthog.com) to understand how visitors interact with this page. PostHog is configured in anonymous mode: no personally identifiable information is attached to analytics events. We track things like page visits and button clicks in aggregate.
PostHog uses a first-party cookie containing a random session identifier only — not your email or any other personal data. All analytics data stays within EU infrastructure. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any other third-party tracking.
Email addresses are stored securely in the MumChef API backend. Access is limited to the product team. There are no passwords to store because there are no accounts — just a waitlist entry.
We retain your email until you request deletion or until 12 months after MumChef launches, whichever comes first. After the launch notification is sent, waitlist data is deleted.

MumChef is designed for parents and caregivers. The waitlist is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
When the app launches, it will be used in the context of family meal planning. The app will be covered by a separate, more detailed privacy policy before any in-app data is collected.
If you believe a child has submitted their email to this waitlist, contact us at bogdan@veliscu.com and we will delete it immediately.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. The only external services involved are the MumChef API backend (storage and notifications only) and PostHog analytics (which never receives your email address).
If we make material changes — for example, when the app launches and we begin handling family and meal data — we will update this page and notify waitlist subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
